The Fulmar

For those interested in such details, the Fulmar is 10 m long with a beam (width) of 3.4 m and a draft of 1.5 m, meaning that in any less depth of water, she can't float. She is rigged as a Bermudan sloop and has a single mast with two sails, a mainsail and a genoa. For times when the wind is blowing from behind she also has a spinnaker and a cruising chute.

When not under sail she is powered by a two cylinder 18 Hp marine diesel engine. She carries 90 litres of fuel and 135 litres of water in stainless steel tanks.
